CMCC's Mission...
"We will work to ensure CMCC is recognized as an active and vital voice in Colorado's managed care community. We continue to value...information, communication and collaboration."
Message from the President...
Due to health care reform bills passed by the US Senate, as well as the House of Representatives, health care remains a hot topic into 2010. If you’re like me, you are finding yourself engaged in ongoing health care related conversations with not only your professional network, but your social network as well. I find it intriguing gathering facts and opinions (some more informed than others) from folks outside the industry and, for me, puts back into razor-sharp focus that the work we all do really matters, and how critically important heath care is to all Americans.
2010 looks to be another remarkable time for our industry and I am optimistic about the opportunities, undoubtedly, from such profound change. That being said, I am even more energized about changes occuring within CMCC in 2010, to better serve our membership. In the coming months, you’ll find we are evaluating all areas of CMCC, identifying ways to offer enhanced value to membership.
My confidence in our ability to create necessary change is in direct proportion to the quality individuals serving on the 2010 Board of Directors. I could not be more impressed with the outstanding collection of healthcare professionals, graciously committed to dedicating time, talent and resources to support CMCC in reaching it's full potential.
We need your assistance as well. I invite you to reach out to members of CMCC’s Board, and share your thoughts on how we can better serve the membership body. Your “hot-button” health care topic, your interest in the subject, and if so inclined, share your perspective. If possible, we will work to incorporate into future programs and discussions.
On behalf of the CMCC Executive Committee and the 2010 CMCC Board of Directors, I wish you all a healthy, safe and productive 2010!
- Aaron R. Sapp, 2010 President
