Colorado Managed Care Contractors (CMCC)
is a voluntary, non-profit organization focused on advancing the
development and role of the professional practices of managed care
contracting and strategic management of those contracts.
This is accomplished through:
- Promoting professional development through continuing education
- Providing current and reliable industry trend information
- Providing current and reliable industry legislative information
- Encouraging the development of managed care planning, marketing and contracting practices
- Promoting professional communication among members and organizations
Membership in CMCC is generally comprised of professional individuals from health plans and provider organizations.
To realize the CMCC Mission, the following principles shall be followed:
- CMCC is comprised of volunteers from the industry
- The CMCC Board elections are held yearly, providing opportunities for volunteer positions for organization members
- CMCC shall regularly sponsor or co-sponsor educational programs which comply with its Mission Statement
- CMCC shall publish the CMCC Connection to inform its members of timely notifications, market updates, and legislative action impacting managed care
- CMCC shall maintain a professional and discreet job bank
- CMCC shall require a nominal yearly membership fee under the jurisdiction of the Board
